Featuring Graphic Art by Ian M.
The background pattern to the left and right and the design behind the site title in the top banner were designed by Ian M. from my period 4 English 10 class. The banner art is actually taken from this larger graphic design. For those interested in more of Ian's work, here is another, and another.
Ian tells me he creates these works using the simple Paint software packaged with Windows OS. I think he gets some subtle effects and has great feeling for shape, color and placement. Even the design in the left and right margins is more complex than it appears; Ian assures me that he "painted" it one pixel at a time, a very laborious procedure.
